Mark & Kara
Congratulations guys!
Folks, what you’re about to see is a day in August which will likely never be forgotten. To set the scene, it was one of those lovely days in Newfoundland. The wind was howling and the rain was sideways but it was the big day, rain or shine. Despite the weather, everyone was in very good spirits and we made the best of a bad situation.
And then the pants came off. :-) Keep scrolling to see what I’m talking about!
- Time to get ready!
- Our stunning bride, Kara.
- Our couple dodged the falling rain just long enough to get this picture on George Street. You can see the falling rain in the background even.
- Mark claims this is the exact look he gave Kara the night they met. How could she resist! :-)
- All the girls! Gotta love the hair bags.
- At the Inn of Olde
- Kara & Mark
- Too funny.
- Not everyone could be there due to, you know, saving the free world and all, but their presence was felt.
- First dance then the real fun began.
- Yep, that’s Screech and pizza.
- A few of the boys were getting Screeched in.
- Having some trouble with the oil skins.
- Bologna, just a light snack before the screech.
- All smiles right now and tasty I’m sure, but sadly boys it only gets worse from here.
- Smiles no more. Now it’s capelin that you must eat. Yum!
- Yeah. Not sitting well is it. Yay Newfoundland. Hah
- And here comes the screech.
- Some for everyone.
- And a little for the help.
- This is their expression after downing the Screech. It was gold. They were all on the brink of heaving.
- Mark removing the garter. The boots were excellent.
- What Mark found underneath was a duck call! QUACK-QUACK. Honestly, folks, I have no idea either, but it was pretty darn funny.
- And then it kicked off. No more commentary required. Just enjoy.
- And last but not least. Good times had by all.
- This one is just cute and makes me laugh.
