The art of wedding photography is a love. Making photographs which are creative, original and full of beauty is something I look forward to at every wedding. Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime moment which has to be captured professionally and error free. And that’s what I do.

My style of photography is a documentary-formal blend, meaning I’m there to capture the events of the day as they happen, make phenomenal portraits and do it without getting in the way.  All packages are open to customization and include an intensive discussion about our photography plans for the day. Every Package Includes

Service Retainer
The retainer for every package is $300 and is due upon booking to reserve your wedding date. It is subtracted from the package cost.
Photo Enhancement
All photographs include digital enhancing on a minor level, including red-eye removal, blemish removal, tonal corrections, lens dust and spot removal and any other enhancing at request. A smaller selection of photos from the day will be more creatively enhanced using special techniques.
Picture Rights & Usage
With each package you're granted full permission to reprint and distribute any and all pictures that you like, in any way possible. If there is something you're looking for an experienced opinion on, I'd be only too happy to help you out.
High Res Images & Media
High resolution .jpgs for reprinting as well as online capable .jpgs, suitable for email and online upload to places like Facebook. Delivered to you via reusable USB thumbdrive.
Photo Backup & Recovery
All high resolution raw images are redundantly backed up by Colin Peddle Photography Ltd. onsite and off-site locations to insure safe keeping. This is a free service I provide for those, 'uh oh' moments.
Online Photo Gallery
With your wedding you'll receive a password protected private section containing all of your photos for easy viewing and as well, a public section to make available to everyone of your friends and family.

Engagement Shoot -
$350
Nothing says "We're Getting Married!" quite like including a stunning engagement photo with your invitations. Please contact me to make arrangements and discuss the shoot. Have a wedding booked with me? Then the engagement shoot is just $200.
Hardcover Photo Book -
$300
Positively the best way to show off your wedding day is the hardcover bound photo book. Each additional is $150.
Second Photographer -
$700
Adding a second photographer to your wedding package is smart way to get more photos. Per your requirements I will have a second photographer suited to what you want most.
Additional Hours -

Need me to pop by at the reception for a big group photo or want me to come to the rehearsal?
"Trash The Dress" -
Starting at $200
A really fun way to get stunning photos that you will always remember. These take place after the big day and usually involve the dress (and/or tux) getting wet or dirty in some way. This is something which requires a lot of discussion so please in inquire.
Fast Turn Around -
$500
Standard turn around time is ten to twelve weeks after the wedding date. A quicker turn around may be requested. I offer 72 hour turn around for $500.
WackyBooth -
$700
With a dedicated photographer the Wacky Booth is a mobile studio that adds a whole barrel of fun to your wedding reception. All photos are included with your regular order. There are no additional costs associated with this add on.
Newlywed Session -
Starting at $200
Though we'll discuss at length every photo and idea you have, some requests are just not possible with the time constraints and pressure of a wedding day. A "next-day" Newlywed Session allows us time to slow down and conceptualize that perfect shot.

The Finer Points

Preparation Photos
Get things started with photography before the ceremony. If possible, the photography will cover both the bride and the groom. This is a perfect opportunity to capture candid photos, formal portraits and detail shots, as well as individual portraits or something completely different.
Ceremony Coverage
My ceremony coverage takes in every aspect, as it's a superb time to capture a wide range of special moments. If permitted by the officiant, photography will occur throughout the entire ceremony, snapping fantastic shots of guests, bridal party and of course the bride and groom.
The Photoshoot
Every wedding is different so all of my packages have a post-ceremony session with no time limits. The time we spend going from location to location making unique pictures really depends on you. This is something we'll discuss in great detail during a face to face meeting leading up to the wedding day.
Reception Coverage
Some of the most memorable moments of every wedding will happen at the reception. Dancing with friends, tossing your bouquet and everything else you might have planned. This options allows you the freedom to schedule your events when you like and I won't quit till there's nothing left to do. If capturing the important moments of the reception is all you need? Why not try the 'Basic Reception' coverage instead.
Rainy Day Plans

A wedding in Newfoundland requires a good plan in case of rain or snow, and we'll discuss in some detail our plans for both sunny and wet weather. Our sunny weather schedule may present an opportunity to keep making pictures despite the conditions outside.

If conditions are just too poor to step outside, we'll reschedule what we have to for another day the following week, free of charge.
Travel & Accommodations

For weddings on the island of Newfoundland but outside of the Greater St. John's Metro Region, the rate is $0.60/km.

For any wedding requiring an overnight stay, accommodations must be provided by contracting party. For destination weddings prices are quoted on an individual basis.
 

Portfolio

I tailor my photography based on what comes from discussions with the bride and groom. Everyone is different, everyone has their own tastes and everyone wants their wedding pictures to be special and original. Thankfully these variables all work together and simply capitalizing on these differences allows me to express this in your pictures. When it comes down to it, I enjoy what I do and love making photos.
